Designed, hand-poured and carefully crafted in New Zealand, this candle comes in a sleek glass tumbler. Made with certified pure soy wax this candle burns a x-crossed wood wick for a steady and long-lasting, even and clean burn of up to 45 hours.

Packaging:

Glass tumbler jar is recyclable. Once the candle is finished, wash and reuse the jar for anything you would like.

Box packaging and shipper are from recycled materials.
First use:

Trim around 6mm before lighting. You can use a nail clipper or a wicker trimmer.

Burn for 4 hours max or until the wax melts to the sides of the jar. This will prevent tunneling.

Subsequent uses:

Trim the wick before lighting.

Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended.

Safety:

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep out of reach of pets and children.

Prevent overheating:

Don’t burn the candle all the way out, a layer of soy wax helps prevent the jar from over heating.
FAULTY ITEMS:

If you find your item to be faulty, please get in touch with us at hello@aspenandfern.co.nz and we will happily arrange for a full refund, an exchange of the item or store credit (in the form of an e-gift card).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND:

Where a return is based on the customer not loving the item, a return must be made within 14 days of receipt date. The item is to be in original condition with packaging intact.

The cost of the return shipping cost is the responsibilty of the customer.

Please provide receipt of purchase with the the return e.g. payment confirmation email, bank statement.

Where damage has occured and or the item is faulty. Please provide information/ pictures to hello@aspenandfern.co.nz to help us look into the situation.

Where the damaged/ faulty item can be returned, Aspen & Fern will reimburse the customer for the cost of shipping.

PROCESSING OF REFUNDS:

Refunds can take up to 10 business days to process once the goods have been recieved.

Where it is agreed that a damaged item cannot be returned, the refund can take up to 10 business days from the date this is agreed upon.

CLEARANCE ITEMS:

Items marked down as 'clearance' are not eligible for a refund. An exchange or store credit (in the form of an e-gift card) can be arranged.

EXCHANGE OF ITEMS:

Where the exchanged item has a lesser value than what was originally spent, the difference will be issued as a store credit, in the form of an e-gift card.

STORE CREDIT:

This will be issued in the form of an e-gift card. You will have 12 months to use the credit.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Please allow 3-7 business days for domestic shipping within New Zealand.

Please allow 5-15 business days for shipping to and within Australia.

We are not able to deliver to PO Boxes, a physical address will be required at checkout.

We will always endeavour to pack your order and post as quickly as possible so you can enjoy your item(s). However at times, there can be postage delays and this can be out of our control.

FAQ's

Is linen scratchy? Linen can feel different from cotton at first, but our French flax linen is prewashed for softness and becomes noticeably softer with every wash. Many customers find it relaxed and comfortable from the first night, and even better over time.

Will the print fade over time? Our prints are digitally printed onto natural flax linen and designed to be long-lasting. With gentle washing and proper care, the colour will remain beautiful. As with all natural fabrics, gradual softening over time is expected and part of linen’s character.

Is linen suitable for sensitive skin? Yes. Linen is naturally breathable and hypoallergenic, making it a great option for sensitive skin. It allows airflow and helps regulate temperature, which many people find more comfortable year-round.

Is the fabric printed on both sides? No, the design is digitally printed on one side of the linen. The reverse remains unprinted, showing the fabric’s natural flax tone and texture.

Can I tumble dry linen pillowcases? We recommend line drying where possible to extend the life of your linen. If you do use a dryer, choose a low heat and remove while slightly damp. Linen naturally relaxes as it dries and doesn’t require ironing unless you prefer a crisp look.
